Office Plague Wall Signs
GLASS PLAQUES ACRYLIC OFFICE SIGNS
A popular way of displaying your company logo on a wall is by producing either a glass or acrylic wall plaque with the logo printed onto a vinyl material which is then reverse applied behind the acrylic panel so that the front surface protects the print from getting damaged, and making it easier to keep clean. The acrylic or glass can be cut to a specific size or shape which makes it a great way to produce a perfectly-sized wall sign which fits the wall proportionally.
By printing the logo we're able to make sure that your brand Pantone or CMYK colours are correctly used and displayed on the sign, as well as ensuring a super high resolution image of a high quality is displayed.
Acrylic plaques are produced in a range of thicknesses usually ranging from 5mm – 10mm. The acrylic is polished to a high gloss finish which ensures the edges of the plaque are super smooth.
The plaque is then mounted to the wall with raised wall ‘barrel-fixings’ which not only look incredibly smart, but they also make the sign stand slightly raised off the wall which is a nice finishing touch. Glass and acrylic plaques can be used as a means of producing both internal and external signage.
There are a number of ways in which your office sign or reception sign can be produced. You'll find a number of methods below which are most commonly used to display your company branding.

Polished acrylic plaque with printed graphics Acrylic plaque signs can be produced in a whole range of colours, sizes and shapes. They’re produced from a flat sheet of acrylic which is cut to size using a laser-cutting machine which polishes the edges of the sign plaque to ensure the sign is perfectly smooth to touch. The acrylic signs are available in a number of thicknesses which typically range from 5mm – 10mm thick, depending on the overall size of the logo. Plastic sheet acrylic is produced in a whole range of colours and finishes so you’re able to pick the background colour for the plaque sign, however more often than not, a crystal clear transparent acrylic is used as the basis of the plaque sign and then a colour printed vinyl is applied to the back of the sign which displayed the logo on the background colour of your choice. By producing the sign this way, we’re able to ensure the colour used is colour-matched to the correct pantone or CMYK colour used in your branding. The acrylic plaque is then mounted to the wall using raised wall fixings which come in a number of different colours such as brushed / polished stainless steel.

Polished acrylic plaque with raised acrylic logo Produced in the same way as a standard acrylic plaque sign, this style of acrylic plaque signage can produced in a whole range of colours, sizes and shapes. The plaque backing panel is cut from a flat sheet of acrylic which is cut to size using a laser-cutting machine which polishes the edges of the sign plaque to ensure the sign is perfectly smooth to touch. The logo itself is also cut from a sheet of acrylic and the individual sections which make up the logo are then bonded flush to the face of the plaque which produces a slightly raised embossed 3D effect which has proved to be hugely popular. The acrylic plaque background itself can be produced in a transparent acrylic so you can see the wall behind, or in a pre-coloured acrylic. Plastic sheet acrylic is produced in a whole range of colours and finishes so you’re able to pick from a whole range of coloured for the plaque sign The acrylic can be produced in a range of thickensses typically ranging from 5mm – 10mm thick. Polished stainless steel plaque engraved detail The mirror polished stainless steel plaques are produced in a 2mm thick stainless steel (304 grade steel) which can be made in a whole range of sizes. The logo is then deep engraved into the surface of the metal before a paint-based colour infill is used to pictate the design of the logo in the desired colour. All colours used for text and logo are produced in a block-colour and colour matched to the closest pantone colour reference. The surface of the stainless steel plaque is machine-polished to a super high mirror-like finish which is polished enough to see a clear reflection on one’s self. The stainless steel plaque can then be mounted to the wall with either raised wall fixings so it stands proud off the wall, or it can be mounted flush. Traditional painted or varnished wooden base plates can also be used as a platform in which the steel plaque is mounted to.

The logo is then deep engraved into the surface of the metal before a paint-based colour infill is used to pictate the design of the logo in the desired colour. All colours used for text and logo are produced in a block-colour and colour matched to the closest pantone colour reference. The surface of the stainless steel plaque has a brushed hairline satin finish which reduces the amount of reflection created on the plaque. The stainless steel plaque can then be mounted to the wall with either raised wall fixings so it stands proud off the wall, or it can be mounted flush. Aluminium tray signs with vinyl graphics An aluminium tray sign is essentially a flat sheet of metal which has had all four sides folded over at a 90 degree angle to produce a shallow sign tray, similar to a lid of a shoe box. The benefits of producing a sign in this fashion is it allows you to mount the sign to a wall with fixings which aren’t visible on the face of the sign. Having fixings on the face of the sign can sometimes ruin the design of the sign especially if the screws impede the design of logo which is why folded aluminium tray signs are a great clean method of production. The sign trays can be painted in a whole range of RAL colours and Pantone colours to suit your branding guidelines. The logo is often produced in vinyl, however in some cases acrylic can be used as a form or signwriting. The aluminium tray can also be produced in a number of different depths often ranging from 20mm – 50mm.
